Our Selection Process – What You Need to Know
The Melasma Clinic is a small, boutique practice in the Eastern suburbs. Our goal is to give every patient the best possible care and results. Because of our size and limited appointment times, we currently focus on conditions that respond most effectively to the treatments we provide.
In the future, we hope to extend our services to include conditions that may take longer to treat or that are best managed together with medical dermatologists.
If we are unable to offer you treatment at this stage, please don’t be discouraged. We will let you know by email and, where possible, guide you toward other dermatologists who may be able to help. While we can’t influence their waiting times, we want to support you in finding the right care.

What avenues do I have if my condition has a low to moderate chance of treatment?
If you fall under classification of low to moderate success, it does not mean that no treatment is available as there are other clinics who may take up this job.
From time to time, we may undertake treatments for low yield cases for publication purposes or academic work. If this was the case, you will be notified & your condition may be treated by a clinical nurse either in Brisbane or in a hospital in Sydney.
